This Privacy Policy explains how Dwadmi technical collage (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and shares your information when you use DWCT College App (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1) Information We Collect

• Account & Identity: College ID (GID / collegeid), National ID (NID) during first-time student login, name, department/major, role (student/teacher/head/admin/clinic).
• Contact: Phone number and email (if available).
• Academic: Student schedule, remaining courses, GPA, advisor name.
• Medical Records (if applicable): Visits and clinical measurements (e.g., blood pressure, sugar, temperature, notes). Access is limited to authorized staff and the student.
• Device & Usage: App version, device info, crash logs, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to deliver notifications.
• Messages/Notifications: Admin/head messages and notification logs.

2) How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate users and provide core features (schedules, remaining courses, violations, clinic records for authorized users).
• Send notifications (e.g., schedule updates, clinic record updates, admin/head messages).
• Operate, maintain, and improve the App; ensure security and prevent misuse.
• Comply with legal or institutional requirements.

3) Legal Bases (where applicable)

We process data to perform a task in the public interest or under institutional mandate, to perform our contract with you (providing the App), to comply with legal obligations, and/or with your consent (e.g., notifications).

4) Sharing of Information

• Within the Institution: Authorized staff (admin/head/clinic/teachers) may access data relevant to their roles.
• Service Providers: Hosting, security, analytics, and Firebase services (e.g., FCM). These providers process data on our behalf.
• Legal: When required by law, regulation, or to protect rights, safety, and property.

5) Data Retention

We retain information as long as necessary to provide services, for institutional/academic recordkeeping, and as required by law. We may anonymize or aggregate data for statistical purposes.

6) Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7) Your Choices & Rights

• Notifications: You can enable/disable push notifications in your device settings.
• Access/Correction/Deletion: Contact us to request access to, correction, or deletion of your data, subject to institutional and legal obligations.

8) Children/Students

The App is provided under the institution’s policies. If you believe a student’s data was collected contrary to policy, please contact us.

9) International Transfers

Your data may be processed in locations outside your region by our service providers (e.g., Firebase). We apply safeguards consistent with applicable law.

10) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version with an updated “Last Updated” date.
